Admission

K.C.S.E with at least a minimum mean grade of C+ and above or a Diploma Qualification in Special Needs Education (with Credit or Distinction) from Institutions recognized will be admitted to year 1 of study. In addition one must have scored at least C (Plain) in English and grade D+ in Mathematics at K.C.S.E

K.C.S.E with an aggregate grade of C+ and above at K.C.S.E and grade C Plain in English and D+ in Mathematics or Diploma holders in Education (with Credit or Distinction) from a recognized Institution will be admitted to year 1 of study. N/B: Applicants who attained a mean grade of C (Plain) at K.C.S.E and proceeded to train for P1 certificate course and a Diploma in Education will also be considered for admission in year 1 of study. In addition the applicant must have scored grade C (Plain) in English and D+ in Mathematics at K.C.S.E to qualify for admission

In addition, one must have scored at least grade C (Plain) in both Mathematics and English at K.C.S.E or Diploma holders in Education (with Credit or Distinction) from a recognized Institution will be admitted to year 1 of study. N/B: Applicants who attained a mean grade of C (Plain) at K.C.S.E with at least C+ in the two teaching subjects and proceeded to train for a Diploma in Education with same two teaching subjects will also be considered for admission in year 1 of study. In addition, the applicant must have scored grade C (Plain) in both English and Mathematics.
