Brief History

Rongo University Library was established in 2015, coinciding with the university’s founding. Initially, the library began with a focused collection of resources tailored to support the core academic programs of the university. As the institution grew, so did the library’s commitment to enhancing access to diverse and high-quality learning materials for students, faculty, and staff.

Over the years, the library has expanded its offerings significantly, embracing digital technologies to complement its traditional print resources. Today, it provides access to an extensive range of e-books, online journals, and academic databases, supporting the evolving needs of the academic community.

The library continues to serve as a key center for research, study, and academic collaboration, offering both quiet study spaces and group work areas. It has become an essential part of Rongo University’s mission to foster a learning environment that encourages academic excellence, innovation, and intellectual growth.

As the university continues to evolve, the library remains dedicated to adapting and expanding its services, ensuring that the Rongo University community has the resources and support needed to succeed.
